How To Remove Coffee Stains
Is there anything much worse than sitting down with a hot cup of coffee in the wintertime to then spill the coffee everywhere. Here are some of our top tips to remove a coffee stain!
The first step to ANY coffee spill is to act quickly, once the stain has dried it is nearly impossible to remove it!
To remove coffee stains the first step you will want to take is to press against the coffee stain with a paper towel to absorb any remaining liquid. The second step is to mix 2 cups of warm water with a tablespoon of dish soap and a tablespoon of white vinegar. For the third step, blot the stain with a clean white cloth using the mixture until the stain is gone. Once the stain has been removed, use a sponge with cold water to rinse the area and then blot the area dry with a clean, dry cloth.

If you do not have any of these items once a coffee spilled has happened, another way to remove the stain is to use whatever soap you have available and rub it into the stain, and let it sit for an hour making sure it doesn’t dry. After an hour rinse it off with lukewarm water. Another way you can remove fresh coffee stains is a much more unusual way as it is through using eggs; firstly whisk up an egg yolk until frothy, once done so rub the yolk into the stain for a minute or 2 with a fresh, clean white cloth and then rinse the stain with water and the stain should have been removed. The most important part about this step is to make sure to wash the area with standard cleaning supplies after you have done the process of removing the stain otherwise the area will stink of eggs!
